Christine Masters

Christine Masters specialises in teaching developmental music and piano to young children. She has taught at Queensland's Young Conservatorium of Music and has many years experience teaching music in schools.

All children are born with a natural ability to listen and respond to music. Having taught music to many children and adults, of varying ages, I can see how important it is to be exposed to music in a developmentally appropriate way. Christine Masters

Blair Johnston's interest in music manifested at the age of 18 months when every week at church his parents would have to repeatedly pull him away from the church organ during services.

At two they brought him his own keyboard to try and solve that problem.

By the age of three he was asking for piano lessons so his parents started him on music classes with Christine Masters.

Blair is now working at Music Masters as a music teacher. He achieved an AMusA in Piano in 2014, and graduated from the Conservatorium of Music in 2017 with a Bachelor in Music Technology.

I previously worked in childcare, and was fortunate enough to have one of your students in my class that brought in "music makes me move" DVD for a rainy day. The group loved the DVD and enjoyed singing the new songs.
